Photo of the Week: Pink Sunsets
I came across the most beautiful pink sunset recently. Actually, it was more of a pink moon rise as the sun had already set.
I’m no expert, but the colours of the sunset have to do with the way molecules in the air scatter light wavelengths. Sometimes, when the conditions are right, the light also reflects off of the clouds, making it look more like an impressionist painting.
Whatever the science, it lasts only a moment just before darkness falls. A moment to cherish.
